Back in 2007, Sophat was one of the pioneers who brought an internet meme, "The Peanut Butter Jelly Time," to reality television. He appeared on American Idol, a show with over 80 million viewers worldwide. The meme, already widely popular on websites like Ebaumsworld and YTMND, also made several appearances on Family Guy, featuring characters like Stewie and Brian dressing as the iconic banana.

It all began on an internet message board at IGN called "The Vestibule", where Sophat, under the username LyricalLines, announced his plan to dress up as a banana for the American Idol auditions in Los Angeles, California. As planned, he followed through, turning his idea into reality. The event became one of the most legendary moments in internet history at the time—a testament to how an ordinary user on a message board brought a piece of internet culture to national television.

Sophat's appearance not only captivated audiences but also earned him interviews as part of Jay Leno's correspondent segment, a feature on MTV News, and coverage by multiple news outlets.
